Great new recording uploaded here
You can almost see the boys, and feel yourself on the floor, the crowd noise here is so well-balanced, there all around, but not drowning out the band.
But the voices and instruments -- so crisp, like you're there, and not listening from within a box, as is so often the case with audience tapes, and soundboards too, quite often!
I truly don't know enough about it, really. My guess is it's the Nakamichi mics, they pick up all the sound from pretty low bass right through the high end -- but, blessings and thanks to Ted Gidley who has the recording credits here, for taking care of his own archive so well, and sharing it with us here, and thanks to Andrew F for the transfer.
My friends, would you like to be transported??
Here is a magic bus....

I remember this show
this was the second night, there were a bunch of heads at the holiday in, and offices across the street gettin a view into the zoo, lots of memories but what was the best was the fantasy jude tradeoff, lots of fun, ohh and there were bells at this show if you know what I mean....
